Until Further Notice

I know that I have been a complete and utter fail on keeping up with the blog as much as I was for the past few years and I am truly and deeply sincerely apologetic about it. Life has been a whirlwind these past 6 months since moving to New York (as was expected) and as a result the blog has suffered. That said for a quick little update on the shenanigans going on in my life I am currently typing this from my hotel room in France where I am staying for the next two weeks while I help run the VIP department for SCOPE Art Show during the reputable Art Basel week in Basel, Switzerland.  This is my first time in Switzerland and only my second time leaving the country and I am so. fucking. EXCITED!!!! On my 8 hour plane ride yesterday (that I could not sleep on to save my life due to butterflies in the stomach) I came up with a few concoctions of fine art images and I would love to hear thoughts, meanderings, bull shit, good, bad, and everything in-between. This will most likely be my last post until I return to the states so until then enjoy, stay safe (or don't should something amazing present itself) and remember to never ever seek.

The Union

A progression of light and dark. A union between two incomprehensible souls. A display of their own, decadent intimacy- yet private transformation inward towards the other. A celebration of both individual light within dark. A union depicting in opposites of sheer vulnerability and smoldering, encompassing domination; an undertone of the beauty and innocent of a new conception of love. and the foretaste of the trust dark sides that love’s shadows can brings. an awakening to the other and a celebration of what may be.

Declaring War

There's a war going on out there and half of you are spending it hiding in the ditches. As our world becomes saturated with visual pollution more and more with each passing day it is our job as the consumer's of this information to know when to call out the mediocrity and from where I'm standing the mediocrity keeps winning the upper hand.

I am a solider in the war on visual pollution and I stand on the battlefield with unapologetic confidence. My army spends endless nights scheming tactic plans and our days fighting tirelessly. We may be laughed at, gawked, mocked, misunderstood, rejected, subjected, provoked to give in and give up but we never do.

Our will is strong and our heads are hard and we are a force to be reckoned with.

So to all of you with your heads in the sand I invite you to see the light and join us. It will be hard, you will come out with wounds and will probably never be the same again but the most important characters in this life are seared with scars and a little blood never hurt anyone.
