This past Thursday I attended the SCAD graduate designers final runway show before their break for summer. The title of the show as Palinopsia: Fashion in Motion. With projections made by SCAD students shown was the runway opening in a rather stuffy warehouse I felt like I was in Brooklyn and the fashion didn't fall short. Before getting into what is a heavy visual post let me talk about what I wore, which you can also see featured on Qui Style in Savannah. I wanted to stay classic but still unique so I paired a vintage hand dyed cocktail dress with my Indian bridal head-dress and some black booties from Baker's. Hair pulled back as the humidity was killer and my hair still managed to turn against me by the end of the night by flaring up into a rat's nest of frizz. Luckily I snapped these pictures before that happened....
Now that we have covered the bases of what I wore, let us get to the real substance of this post:
The show.
All SCAD graduate designers close the show |
More to come soon on the menswear featured at the show, I felt that it deserved it's own post...
