I once wrote a several page ranting about how much I love willow tree's. Growing up in North Carolina my dad attempted to fill our 7 acres of land with them but sadly we moved before we got to see the end result. There's something enchanting about the way the tree limbs fall so gracefully right above the ground, tracing the wind with it's finger-tipped leaves. Right around my dorm I found this magnificent tree and immediately grabbed my tripod to snap these shots. You fall into a state of sereneness when the leaves shadows embrace your skin. By the end I almost wanted to change my childhood fantasy of being a flower into a Weeping Willow leaf.
A tear that never falls.
