That's right, your reading correctly. This Friday I will be having my very first solo art show! Last semester after feeling down trodden from school I had a friend in my photography class tell me about a bar in Midtown Miami that hosts artists work every now and then. Coincidentally this was the same bar/lounge that I had hosted the Style Wars event for. Being familiar with the layout of the place and type of things I thought they might be interested I sent them an email with some of my work and within 24 hours I got a call asking when I would like to have my first solo show. Shock and excitement doesn't begin to explain the feeling that was overwhelming me after I got off the phone. I screamed and danced and called my parents and closest friends screeching with joy. I am now so delighted to announce that the day is near and anyone that will be in the area I would love for you all to come out to meet you.
