It's halfway through my spring break and yesterday was the first day that the sun actually came out long enough to take photos. I've cooped myself up in a dorm room for almost 4 days straight and my body has been aching to see the outdoors again. I didn't have anything particular in mind when taking these photos other than just to document an experience taking in spring. To me that means to stop looking at the clock and start paying attention to the light. To not check my email 10 times a day and lose myself in nature. To forget about ridiculing stares and focus on the sensuous, peaceful feeling the material sets into me. Spring to me is a season of renewal and rebirth; a time to refocus and remind myself of the way the world affects me and how I affect it.
